Thank you for to-day’s GrowData on line tutorial. In our business we deal with a range of suppliers and I like to provide timely feedback for both poor and excellent performance, and this morning’s session was certainly the latter.

As fruit growers we seem to be continually time poor and so the online meeting was a great way to have a remote expert advise me on the best way forward. Whilst I was confident in using some aspects of GrowData, others were viewed as black magic and never approached. The hour that I spent will be easily recaptured simply in data entry time without considering the decision support benefits offered by a more effective information system.

Also, you were able to quickly identify how we might use another (irrigation) module to reduce the number of subdivisions in our system. This will reduce the number of block choices available, which I am confident will result in more accurate data capture.

As a software customer, I expect that there will be some minor irregularities. I choose to judge you not on whether these occur, but the manner in which you resolve the problem. Your performance in this area has been commendable.

Please keep up the development, and I do also appreciate your dedication to both fixing issues and incorporating industry developments as they arise. In the 3 years that I have been using GrowData, it (and possibly I) has evolved, from a basic start to comprehensive management tool.
