Vineyard Management Software :: Fertigation

Fertigation
The fertigation screen allows you
to pre record or record after the event each
fertiliser application made via the irrigation system. In the same way as
the folia Spray Diary screen and
the Dry Applications screens work,
records can be prepared in advance and instruction sheets issued on the
day, or the data can be entered after the job has been completed.
Calculating
Quantities
The Fertigation screen allows you
to calculate total quantities of fertiliser required for a job, on a
per vine or per ha basis. Quantities can then be rounded up or
down so that the actual quantity of chemical required for the job can be
recorded.
Applying The Fertilisers
Applying chemicals via the
irrigation system is quite different to simply selecting a group of block
to be fertilised. Often because of the configuration of the irrigation
system, when shifts of valves are deployed, some blocks may be only
partially watered while other blocks on the same shift will be completely
watered. For this reason our Fertigation screen is linked to our
Irrigation screen so that the fertilizers can be applied in “shifts”
rather than to individual whole blocks as the shifts method directly
replicates how, when and where the chemicals will be applied.
Variations in soil types
on a block may require a different watering and fertigation regime.
GrowData’s clever design allows you to accurately record
these events with the click of a button
Reports
A number of reports are generated
from this data including:
-
The total quantity of fertiliser applied to each block and
variety.
-
The quantity of fertilizer applied per valve
-
The quantity of fertilizer applied per shift
-
The rate per ha. applied to each block and variety
-
The elements applied (NPK etc.) to each block and variety
expressed as both total quantity and as a rate per ha.
