I have been using Growdata for 8 years of my 18 year fruit growing career. Before GrowData, spray diaries were a nightmare, spending up to 2 hours a week filling them in by hand and that's only on 130 acres. Now I'm managing over 300 acres I can do a week’s worth of spray diaries in 10 minutes. I find the program great for ordering chemicals as you know down to the last litre or kg the quantity of chemical you will need for the application. This also includes fertilizer products as well.

One of the major benefits of this program is by a click of a button you can do a "cost/profit report" so you can see which blocks are actually making you money.

As far as Quality Assurance goes, the program fits in with all of the codes. A press of a button and you have a very detailed spray diary report for your supplier.

The program also enables you to bring up any queries or reports you can think of all by a press of a button.

We have now been using the Growdata program for over 18months and are commencing our 2nd full season of use.

We are using it to maintain Spray Diary and Inventory records, all Fruit Production records and are utilising the Packhouse Module to manage packout and payment records from Mildura Fruit Company.

We have found GrowData’s Spray Diary an excellent tool for recording our spray activities and complying with SQF requirements. It’s easy and quick to use and the instruction sheet is easy for our workers to follow.
We use GrowData’s Packing module to record approximately 100 tonnes of cherries, and 100,000 to 120,000 trays of stone fruit. It’s also very easy to use and allows us to record and report on our daily packing activities.

We use GrowData to manage our 3 properties, which total approximately 320 ha.
We grow a large variety of apples and pears and have found GrowData’s easy data entry an excellent way to track cost of production on a crop-by-crop and block-by-block basis.

Thank you for introducing IMPI Highland to the Growdata system. We use your software extensively on our orchard as well as in our packing shed. So far our packing shed has generated nearly 7000 pallets and 2000 consignment notes without a hitch. It has helped our business grow and greatly reduced the time spent preparing paperwork and managing stock. The volume of fruit the systems handles would be impossible to handle with our old manual system. We will continue to use this system for years to come.

I have been using Growdata vineyard and orchard managment systems for the past 2 seasons. With the cost tracking reports I find them to be an excelent managment tool , the program is very quick and easy to use. The spray diary takes seconds to fill in and the instruction sheets are a handy reference. My customers are very happy with the spray reports that I produce with Growdata and my SQF 1000 audits are a lot easier using the Growdata reports.

To me, the ability to use GrowData for the simple recording of spray records, to use it as a planning tool for spray programs, and to print off completed programs per block or variety, which can assist in withholding period compliance, and Quality Assurance audits, makes Grow Data value for money for this alone. The good thing is, that Grow Data is much more widely based than this, it is a tool than can be easily used to track and define expenses such pruning, water costs per hectare etc.
