Orchard Management Software :: Dry Applications

Dry Applications
This screen is specifically designed to make it easy for you to prepare
your dry fertilizer applications.
- Future Planning- fertilizer programs can be entered in advance with
instructions sheets being printed when required.
- Historic Records- data can be recorded after the job has been done.
It also acts as a calculator, allowing you to work out
- how many kg’s you will need to achieve a specific rate per tree or rate
per ha. for a given group of blocks to be fertilised.
For example you may wish to calculate how many kg’s you will require to
achieve a rate of 30 kg per ha. over a group of blocks. Simply select the
fertiliser, enter the rate per ha. required, select the blocks and
calculate.
Let’s assume it calculates that you will require 280 kg’s to achieve
this coverage. Your fertilizer comes in 50 kg bags so usually you will
want to round this up to 300kg. By simply clicking a button you can now
recalculate based on a total quantity to be used (300kg) and the program
will work out exactly how many kg’s will be applied per block and what
your slightly revised application rate per ha will be.
You can now produce an instruction sheet which details the
- machinery to be used,
- settings required,
- blocks to be fertilised and of course
- fertiliser(s) to be used.
Upon completion, the operator confirms that
- the job was finished successfully or notes any variations,
- records the time taken
- signs the form
These additional details can then be entered against the electronic record
in GrowData and the job is done.
Dry Application Reports
From the data in this record the following information is automatically
calculated in the background and available in a variety of reports:
• The quantity of each fertiliser applied per block and variety (both kg’s
and rate per ha.)
• The cost of labour and machinery
• The elements applied (N.P.K etc.) expressed as bot a total quantity per
block and as a quantity per ha.
Each method of fertiliser application (folia, fertigation and dry) has
its own entry screen, but when fertiliser reports are prepared, all
methods are included in the one report to give you a comprehensive
overview of you fertiliser applications. |
